RPH Home Services ("we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

When you contact us or request a quote, we collect:

• Your name
• Your phone number and email address
• Your postcode and, where you provide it, your property address
• Details of the work you are enquiring about

We do not collect special category data, and we do not ask for payment card details through this website.

Why we collect it and our lawful basis

• To respond to your enquiry and provide a quote. Lawful basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract.
• To carry out work you have engaged us for, including issuing certificates and registering warranties. Lawful basis: performance of a contract.
• To meet legal obligations, such as Gas Safe notification and record keeping. Lawful basis: legal obligation.
• To remind you when a service or certificate is due. Lawful basis: legitimate interests. You can opt out at any time.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for marketing purposes. We share it only where necessary: with boiler manufacturers to register your warranty, with your local authority for Building Regulations notification, with the Gas Safe Register where required, and with our service providers (email and hosting) who process data on our instructions.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Records relating to completed work are kept for at least six years to meet our legal, warranty and insurance obligations. Gas safety records are kept for a minimum of two years as required by law.

Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to request erasure where we have no continuing lawful basis to keep it, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies and analytics

This website is a static site and does not set advertising or tracking cookies by default. If we add analytics in future, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.
